Courtney Watkins is an imaginative force of nature who has been an award-winning writer, sought-after speaker, TV correspondent, web series creator/producer/host, teacher and illustrator over the last 20 years. Known as the premier “Thinker Upper,” Courtney has worked with many leading companies to spark innovative thinking and to initiate creative solutions. Her clients include Disney, CBS, Wonder! and Little, Brown & Co.
Much of her career has been at the forefront of creativity in the children-and-their-families arena. Currently, Courtney is at the helm of Creative Adventures, an enrichment program she designed for pre- and grade school age children. The Creative Adventure experience gives kids the tools and skills to unearth the “Aha!” hidden in every day. This in turn inspires motivation to learn science, art, architecture, invention, history, language and creative problem-solving.
When she is not running Creative Adventures, painting for Bill Clinton (yes, that Bill Clinton) or hosting a show produced by the Jim Henson Company, she is writing and illustrating her second book and producing a multi-platform creative adventure program for children.
Courtney lives in Los Angeles with her husband, artist Jeff Robinson, and their daughter Mary Charles.
